The Conference shall take place at Palais Staszic, built at the beginning of the 19th century on the main axis of Old Warsaw, the so-called Royal Road, as the seat of the first scientific society of Warsaw. The building was commissioned by the Rev. Stanislas Staszic, scientist, minister of the government, advocate and practitioner of industrial development based on local mineral resources.
